Skonflix Overview & Editorial Review

When an unsanctioned shadow operation in the heart of Iran goes completely off the rails, a team of disgraced former CIA operatives and elite military contractors finds themselves disavowed by the American government and trapped deep inside hostile territory. Led by a battle hardened veteran operator, the mercenary unit is recruited by a shadowy private intelligence firm for what appears to be a straightforward, high payout extraction mission in Tehran to recover a compromised double agent carrying top secret nuclear intelligence. However, as the team breaches the target location, they quickly discover they have been set up as expendable scapegoats in a complex, high level geopolitical conspiracy designed to ignite an international conflict. With heavy Iranian state security forces closing in, their escape routes severed, and a ruthless black market syndicate hunting them down for the valuable data drive, the former agents must rely on their lethal combat skills, improvised tactics, and deep covert tradecraft to fight their way through hostile urban checkpoints, alleyways, and safehouses, risking everything to expose the high level traitors who betrayed them before they are silenced permanently.

Directed by acclaimed action filmmaker Guy Moshe (Bunraku, LX2099) from a fast paced, hard hitting screenplay co written alongside former CIA officer Bazzel Baz, The Fix (2026)—originally developed under the title Hotel Tehran—is a gritty espionage action thriller produced by Oakhurst Entertainment, Astral Games, and Chimera Media. The creative production team prioritized grounded realism and authentic military tactics, bringing in real life intelligence consultants and special forces veterans to train the lead actors in live fire drills, room clearing techniques, and hand to hand combat choreography. Cinematographer Alexey Kobychev utilized wide anamorphic lenses, natural handheld camera movements, and stark high contrast lighting to capture the suffocating urban tension and fast paced gun battles, paired with a heavy percussive orchestral soundtrack composed by Bear McCreary that accentuates every pulse pounding standoff.

Releasing in movie theaters nationwide during the fall season before expanding across digital transactional storefronts and major subscription streaming platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Max, Paramount+, and Google TV, the high stakes action spectacle stars action icon Liam Neeson alongside Zachary Levi, Robert Knepper, and Bahrani actor Navid Negahban. Action cinema fans, military thriller enthusiasts, and film critics lauded the feature for its unrelenting narrative momentum, authentic tactical sequences, visceral practical stunt work, and strong chemistry between Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi. Delivering a white knuckle combination of military survival action, covert tradecraft intrigue, and non stop kinetic excitement, the cinematic release established itself as an entertaining standout among modern espionage thrillers.
